Half Asleep

from Lonely World by Mike LeRoy

/

about

Written on the week of January 4th, the week after my Grandmother died unexpectedly. I needed to think about the positive, while I was feeling Half Asleep.

lyrics

Close my eyes on a warm summers day,
Listen to all of the young children play.
Don't mind if it rains... Just why should I care?
Take a deep breath of that clean summers air.

I'll dream of the love that i'll never see.
The one who I love, who doesn't love me.
A dream is a place, where lovers can be,
So take my hand, and we can be free.
